Minga: An Andean Concept Uniting the World
Rooted in the Andes, the Minga is a practice of reciprocity, trust, solidarity, and community, integrating community service with the values of caring for life and placing humans and nature at the center.
It is a call to action for us, human beings, to unite and regenerate.
Join hands, together we are a team.

Rotary International, Johannes Kepler School, and the Arcandina Foundation unite in Minga.
These three organizations combine forces to coordinate projects and initiatives at a global scale, with the firm goal of driving ecosystem restoration, managing waste, and protecting water.

We have more than 46,000 clubs in nearly 200 countries, funding sustainable projects.
Under our motto “We are people of action,” we have accumulated 47 million hours of volunteer work that transform communities.

We are a benchmark in education for sustainable development, and in 2023, we were recognized as the World Best School Prize.
Our activities have brought together 4,500,000 students and 60 public and private stakeholders in favor of environmental conservation.

Arcandina Foundation for Environmental Education, we are the creators of the TV series “Arcandina,” broadcasted internationally.
We are recognized by UNESCO, the National Wildlife Federation, and the Schwab Foundation for our environmental
edu-communication strategies.
We have made history in sustainable communication and production in Ecuador.
